Hi there, I just came along this page and I thought is that picture made in Canada just the other week. Or it that not the meaning of -Toen- To explain my parents were Dutch but they passed away and I can t ask anybody now that now those words........ Does the Dutch language still exsist for a whole bunch of people overthere....
Hi Mary, a few old people still speak Dutch, but most people speak a more civilized language like Frisian. If you like it, Doarmer can give you a cd with a basic course of this beautiful language and then you understand why people don't want to speak Dutch anymore.

First of all I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thank you!
